- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate truck models and configurations
- Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing, and close deals for New and pre-owned trucks.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings
- Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Previous experience in the heavy-duty truck or automotive industry would be an asset.
- Post-secondary education (college or university) is an asset
- Proven success in sales with a strong passion for the field
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
- Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused approach
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities, with a commitment to meeting client deadlines
- Ability to do sales presentations and conduct follow-up meetings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn detailed product knowledge
