Production Manager

Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, Green Seafoods, is seeking to fill a Production Manager position to join them in their plant in Winterton, NL.

Position Summary:

Green Seafoods are seeking a leader with a proven track record in managing production operations and leading teams to achieve goals. As Production Manager at the Winterton, NL processing facility, you will help oversee the production of snow crab, whelk, sea cucumbers and mussels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Responsible for daily production operations within the plant to ensure and lead team to achieve goals. Oversee the production of various shellfish and fish species.
• Team Leadership: Responsible for shift-level plant performance. Supervise and coach staff.
• Production Planning: Establish daily, monthly and annual production targets and schedules, and develop plans for efficient use of labor and resources.
• Safety and Compliance: Promote a proactive safety-first culture and ensure the work environment is safe, clean and compliant with regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in food processing plant (preferably Seafood).
• Proven managerial experience with the ability to effectively lead teams.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
• Computer skills- MS Office of Suites. (Word, Excel, etc.)

Job Details:

• Full-time, Seasonal
• 30-60 hours weekly. (Schedule: 8-10 hour shift, 5-6 days weekly, 7 on exception)
• Competitive Hourly pay
• In-person work location: Winterton, NL.
