Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a results-oriented innovative technical individual to join our team as a Human Resources Digital Solutions Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience in process improvement, data analysis and systems management.

Who you are
You have a minimum of four years of progressive experience with computerized systems, demonstrated analytical capabilities and excellent project implementation skills; preferably in a large multi-site, unionized environment. You have a strong technical background with advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with MS Power BI or Power Query would be considered an asset.
A degree/diploma or equivalency in a related discipline, preferably in an Information Technology related field or Business Administration. Human Resources training would be an asset.
What you will doReporting to the Regional Director, Human Resources Analytics and Optimization, you will be part of a team that plays a key role in enabling Horizon to achieve human resources operational excellence through enhanced strategic decision-making. As a bridge between business opportunities and technology solutions, it is crucial you develop an in-depth understanding of HR systems to identify improvement areas for which you will coordinate efforts to action implementation plans. By providing daily support, management, and performance monitoring to Human Resources Information Management Systems, you will develop subject matter expertise. Your exceptional information gathering, analytical thinking, and problem-solving competencies will be highly utilized and challenged as you work with stakeholders to understand and resolve issues and optimize systems.
Human Resources Information Systems Support, Management and Performance Monitoring
- Provides user application support for Human Resources Information Management Systems.
- Maintains the Human Resources Information Management Systems configuration.
- Monitors, analyzes, and remedies system and business integration issues for the applications, related interfaces, and other applications/tools utilized by Human Resources.
- Ensure that all relevant information regarding changes, enhancements, and modifications required because of issues are effectively documented.
- Ensures solutions are fully tested prior to release - plans, develops, documents, and executes test scenarios, conditions, expected results and validates actual results.
- Independently researches problems and identifies root cause of issues using analysis and problem determination skills. Provides timely, accurate, and complete responses.
- Consistently and effectively communicates with management, Service New Brunswick, and / or the vendor to ensure issues are escalated and resolved.
- Provides HR system access / de-activation services.
- Manages and supports exception reporting.
Human Resources Information Systems Improvement Identification, Coordination, and Implementation
- Collaborate with users and leaders to ensure applications are performing to standards and address service improvement needs
- Provide test progress status updates and participate in the development of implementation schedules.
- Support development of HR technology roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
- Understand business processes, gather and define business requirements, conduct research and workflow analysis, identify improvement opportunities/gaps, and create detailed recommendations documentation.
- Analyze how the recommended solution will impact other application components, interfaces, and processes within their business domains.
- Participates in the planning and configuration of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Joins forces with leaders, HR Centers of Excellence, IT, and vendors to deliver technology projects.
- Assists and coaches end users, participating in training initiatives.
Human Resources Data Analyst
- Provide data collection and analysis support.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.
- Coordinate work to respond to Human Resources data requests to ensure deadlines are met and, when necessary, re-prioritize to accommodate urgent requests or escalate complex requests to the Senior Business Analysts.
Human Resources Information Systems Standard Operating Practices, Training and Documentation Control
- Develops new Standard Operating Practice documentation.
- Prepares and maintains user training and support related documentation.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for systems, tools, and associated processes.
- Records and tracks technical issues and defects identified.
Human Resources Optimization Team coverage
- As a part of the HR Analytics and Optimization Team, the incumbent will be cross trained in various related tasks to provide coverage for teammates.
