Job Title: Plasma/Torch Cutter

Location: Moncton, NB

Wage: $18-$20/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Our client is looking for a dedicated and reliable person to join their successful team in Moncton. This position is a temporary job with a duration of one to three months. It will involve cutting and processing scrap metal with plasma, torches, and other various power tools. They require a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Having previous forklift experience, welding and cutting experience, and some knowledge of the metals they buy is a requirement. They will train candidates who best fit the role, offer competitive wages, and provide a full benefits package.

Job Details:

• Cut and process scrap metal using plasma, torches, and other power tools
• Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
• Apply welding and cutting techniques when necessary
• Have a working knowledge of various metals purchased
• Ensure safety and proper handling of tools and equipment
• Follow company protocols and safety guidelines in all tasks

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in welding and cutting (plasma, torches, etc.)
• Knowledge of different metals commonly bought for scrap
• Ability to work with various power tools safely and efficiently
• Previous experience with forklift operation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to handle manual labor tasks
