Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, you will play a key role in managing, securing, and automating systems that support our faculty, staff, and students. You will also help drive our cloud transformation by enhancing our use of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 services.

You'll be joining a collaborative, supportive team of IT professionals working with modern Microsoft technologies and hybrid cloud infrastructure to keep our systems secure, reliable, and evolving. Your expertise will make an immediate and visible impact as we advance our digital environment.

We're passionate about teamwork, innovation, and helping each other succeed. If there are skills you're eager to develop, we'll help you get there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 environments for endpoint, identity, and application management.
  • Participate in planning, design, and implementation of hybrid and cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and automation.
  • Maintain and enhance system performance, reliability, and security, including patching, monitoring, and backup operations.
  • Support identity management, access control, and group policy across both Azure AD and on-prem Active Directory environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy automation and configuration management solutions (e.g., PowerShell, scripting).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and technical standards.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and change management activities (may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends).
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud-based Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience managing Intune-enrolled devices, Azure AD join/hybrid join, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Intune (device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment)
  • Azure AD / Entra ID and Active Directory (identity, roles, synchronization, security)
  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, security & compliance)
  • VMware vSphere / HyperV / Dell VxRail environment management
  • Scripting with PowerShell or similar administrative languages (C#, VB, Python)
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall concepts)

Attributes:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to learning and staying current with new technologies.
  • Flexibility around work scheduling to accommodate systems change management standards, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends a few times per month.
