WorkSafeNB is seeking to fill a permanent position of Team Lead, Employer Assessment Billing and Collections. Reporting to the Manager, Assessment Services, you will ensure consistency in the Billing, Collections, and Administration functions within the Assessment Services Department. This is accomplished by leading a team of Assessment Officers, coordinating the teams' work, and owning relevant processes.

Your key areas of responsibility are as follows:

  • Coordinating the team's workload, monitoring progress towards scheduled deadlines to ensure team and organization objectives are met on time.
  • Leading and coordinating the resolution of client inquiries.
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of the collections function.
  • Supporting continuous improvement in the department, as well as ensuring the team adheres to policies and regulations.
  • Providing people leadership through guidance and support to their team, fostering a positive team culture and ensuring team members feel valued and engaged in their work.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or two-year diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management, Insurance or Risk.
  • 1 to 3 years of leadership experience.
  • 4 years of related work experience in finance, audit, Workers' Compensation, insurance (risk financing), law/administrative justice, collections, accounts receivable, or payroll.

Written and spoken competence in English and spoken competence in French is required.

Pay Scale $77,735.49 to $91,452.80

Travail sécuritaire NB administre une assurance sans égard à la responsabilité contre les accidents du travail et l'incapacité au travail pour les employeurs et leurs employés, financée uniquement à partir des cotisations des employeurs. Il est dirigé par un conseil d'administration formé du président du conseil; d'un vice-président; du président et chef de la direction (sans droit de vote); du président du Tribunal d'appel (sans droit de vote); de cinq membres représentant les travailleurs et de cinq membres représentant les employeurs.   • d'offrir aux travailleurs blessés des prestations d'indemnisation en temps opportun, de l'aide médicale, de la réadaptation et des services de reprise du travail en toute sécurité;
  • de fournir une assurance durable et des services connexes aux employeurs;
  • de représenter les intervenants, et de présenter des recommandations et des conseils au gouvernement relativement à la législation, et de publier des rapports, des études et des recommandations que Travail sécuritaire NB juge à propos.
