The Product Analyst plays a key role in shaping and improving our online academic programs at the University of Fredericton. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll dive into market research, support product roadmaps, analyze student feedback (including NPS), and help drive program enhancements from launch through end-of-life. You'll collaborate closely with academic and operational teams to turn insights into action-translating data, trends, and direction into clear, meaningful outcomes that support program growth and student success.

Job Duties
1. Market Research and Analysis
- Research new program opportunities using labour market data, competitor scans, and industry trends, and leverage findings to produce actionable recommendations.
- Prepare concise market analysis summaries to support academic accreditation submissions and internal approvals for new program development.
- Maintain basic reference files and data sources for recurring market questions.
2. Roadmap Support and Delivery Coordination
- Maintain program and feature lists for assigned offerings, including status and target dates.
- Document product requirements and changes based on direction from product and academic leads.
- Track action items and follow-ups for roadmap-related items and meetings.
3. Student NPS and Feedback
- Run recurring NPS and other short student surveys using existing tools.
- Compile and clean survey results and basic metrics (response rates, scores, themes).
- Analyze results, highlighting key issues and trends for program and student experience teams.
4. Reporting and Documentation
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for key product metrics.
- Prepare slide decks, one-page summaries, and simple data tables for internal meetings.
- Keep product records and decision logs up to date and organized.
5. Product Launch, Update, and End of Life Support
- Project manage product launches, updates, and end-of-life support initiatives.
- Create checklists and relevant documentation, serving as a point of coordination for new product introductions and updates.
- Help gather and update content for marketing, web, and student-facing information.
- Track and document details for product end-of-life activities, including dates and teach-out details as assigned.
- Monitor basic post-launch performance and compile initial results for review.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in research, analytics, coordination, or product support within online education, edtech, or similar digital services environments.
- Experience preparing clear written summaries, reports, or slide decks for internal audiences.
- Experience using survey tools and NPS or CSAT-style feedback programs (asset).
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (LMS), CRM systems, or marketing automation tools (asset).
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort working with data and spreadsheets, including lookups, filters, and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and checklists.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of the Canadian postsecondary landscape and credential types (asset).
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and residing in New Brunswick for the duration of employment, with reliable high-speed internet for remote work.
Working Conditions
- Remote-first role within New Brunswick, Canada, with occasional in-office work for planning or meetings as required.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position (35 hours) under regular business hours. The position is located in Fredericton, NB with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in New Brunswick, and attend in-office meetings, as required. The ideal candidate should reside in New Brunswick or be willing to relocate.
