The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Health Workforce Planning Branch as a Health Human Resources Advisor.
As the Health Human Resources Advisor you will:
- Provide professional services, advice and assistance in the development, coordination, promotion and implementation of Health Human Resources programs;
- Provide support in planning and coordinating annual visits to universities, maintaining contact lists, including provincial registries, where applicable;
- Provide support in all areas related to tracking and reporting on enrollment per class, providing an overview and key points to understand the maximization of resources and training centers;
- Provide statistical information and related reports;
- Provide comprehensive support related to the Physician Incentive Payments process;
- Provide comprehensive support on all aspects related to vacancies, exits, and retention reporting;
- Provide database management support to the Branch;
- Respond to Media Requests and Right to Information Requests on behalf of the Branch;
- Provide support to Senior Advisors, Consultants, and Director as required.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Arts, Education, Science, Health Administration, or another related field; or
- A two (2) year college diploma in Business, Health, or another related field and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

In the event that this competition poses difficulties in recruiting a qualified candidate, a covering off appointment at a lower level may be made. In that case, candidates with less than the required related years of experience may also be considered.

Salary: $1,875 to $2,618 bi-weekly (Pay Band 2)
