The IT Operations team is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical infrastructures and associated software that provide the secure and stable computing and networking capabilities required to support the Corporation's business systems and information management needs. This includes a continuous focus on meeting negotiated service levels, ensuring high availability of the infrastructure, managing outsourced services (daily operations, communications, hardware ever-greening, voice services), minimizing service interruptions, rapid repairing of system breakages, and effective life cycle management for all systems.
Data Backup Key functions include:
• Backup Operation: Manage and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure reliable data protection, compliance, and collaboration across IT teams.
• Security Control Implementation: Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and testing network security controls, monitoring emerging threats, and supporting disaster recovery to ensure protection against cyberattacks and system vulnerabilities.
• Cyber Vault: Manage and secure backup vaults to ensure encrypted, compliant, and reliable long-term data storage
Network Infrastructure Key functions include:
• Operational Technology Security Support: Maintain and support Firewalls in an OT (Operational Technology) environment. This includes creating firewall rules, performing scheduled security updates, monitoring and troubleshooting any connectivity issues.
• Network Infrastructure Administration: Maintain and support networking infrastructure. This includes design, deployment, programing switches, applying updates, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Technical Support: Create technical documentation for supporting the network infrastructure.
Our ideal teammate will have:
• Bachelor Computer Science OR Bachelor Electrical Engineering
• One years' experience in one or a combination of the following:
o Experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) or other control systems (e.g., OSI Monarch)
o Experience with Industry communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, ICCP)
o Experience with Network Management
o Experience with Security Management
o Experience with Server Management
o Experience with Backup Management
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
