The Opportunity

From asset misappropriation and financial statement fraud to major litigation and transactional disputes, no company is immune. When confronted with potential acts of fraud, regulatory inquiries, or complex legal disputes, clients turn to our Forensic team for the expertise and support they need, precisely when they need it.

Our team combines deep investigative skills with advanced data analytics and industry-leading technologies to help clients identify risks, resolve issues, and support legal strategies. Working across industries, we deliver critical insights and practical solutions for both fraud prevention and dispute resolution, making a measurable impact for our clients.

In today's environment, where high-profile corporate fraud and complex disputes are increasingly data-driven, our Forensic Data Analytics (FDA) team is at the forefront of leveraging advanced analytics and emerging technologies to help clients investigate, prevent, and resolve critical business issues. As a manager or Senior Manager in our FDA group, you will lead and deliver innovative solutions for fraud investigations, dispute support (including complex litigations and class actions), and compliance projects. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, collaborating with legal counsel, internal audit, and compliance teams to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage forensic data analytics engagements, including fraud investigations, dispute support, and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze complex data sets using industry-leading tools and methodologies to extract meaningful insights, develop models, identify patterns, automate processes, visualize results, and generate robust evidence to support investigations, compliance reviews, and dispute resolution.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
  • Deliver quality and value-added service on engagements, manage the delivery of services to clients (oversee client files from the planning to the closing stage) and ensure consistent high quality services to clients.
  • Mentor professionals with proven abilities, motivate and mentor high-performing professionals to achieve full individual and team potential, provide strong coaching and training to achieve operational excellence.
    Willingness and ability to travel on occasion.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments relevant to forensic data analytics.
    Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions and identify cross-functional opportunities.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Proven experience in forensic data analytics, fraud investigation and dispute support.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, including proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms sur as PowerBI.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a tenacious approach to uncovering insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
  • Proven marketing and business development skills in coordinating and preparing proposals.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

What we look for

  • 5+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience in forensic accounting and data analytics.
  • Substantial knowledge of data analytic tools, databases and visualization platform
  • Demonstrate ability to apply data analytics best practices—including data quality assessment, validation, documentation, and reproducibility—to forensic investigations and dispute support projects.
  • Experience leading client engagements and managing teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • A completed CPA, CFF, CFE, or relevant professional designation.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English. Competencies in other languages would be an asset.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.

  • The ability to deliver training.
  • The ability to conduct consulting meetings.
  • A strong ability to analyze and summarize, particularly when lines are blurred.
