The Position:
The Marketing Coordinator provides essential support in planning, organizing and executing marketing initiatives that contribute to member engagement, brand consistency, and business growth. This role collaborates with internal departments to ensure timely, clear, and accurate communication while upholding our Credit Union's voice and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Develop and distribute high-quality content for digital channels (social media, website, email), print materials, and branch communications.
- Schedule and manage social media content; monitor engagement and provide insights for improvement.
- Maintain and update website content in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Support event planning, sponsorship activities, and community initiatives.
- Assist with creating marketing materials, presentations, and branch communications.
- Monitor inventory of marketing materials and manage vendor relationships as needed.
- Track campaign performance and support regular reporting.
- Ensure branch consistency and compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role (financial services or cooperative experience considered an asset).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify information effectively.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience with creative design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Creative Suite) considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Interest in community involvement and alignment with cooperative values.

- Salary Range: $51,600- $60,700
