Employment Term: Term contract position (December-January)

Rothesay Netherwood School (1877) is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for Grades 6 to 12 that offers innovative, world-class learning experiences in a safe and caring school community. RNS is seeking an Academic Support Associate to assist with substitution coverage and the Learning Commons. This position is currently for three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide coverage of classes, on a rotating basis, when teachers are absent.
• Academic responsibilities in support of the Learning Commons, including one-on-one and small-group support and supervision for students.
• Participate in school meetings as directed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree
• Experience in building strong relationships with youth
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible
• Good time management/organizational skills
