The New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission (NBLASC) provides legal assistance to low-income individuals and is a crucial part of a fair and equitable justice system. We are committed to access to justice and we advocate for our clients' rights.
The Executive Services Branch leads with purpose, shaping strategic direction and championing operational excellence across Criminal Law, Family Law, the Public Trustee, and Corporate Services. Through the development and execution of a bold three-year strategic plan and high-impact priority initiatives, the Branch is committed to advancing access to justice and delivering responsive, compassionate service to the vulnerable individuals and families who rely on us most.
The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closing of priority projects.
What you will do
As Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and support the Commission's priority projects;
- Be responsible for project scoping, charter and project plans development, managing issues and risks, acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to manage these projects according to plan;
- Work closely with subject matter experts, business analyst, senior leaders and project teams;
- Produce projects' progress reports, guidelines, briefing notes and other communications;
- Create/track projects' KPIs and monitor benefits realization throughout each project;
- Provide coaching to project teams and leaders involved in each project;
- Make recommendations to project owners on action required to remove barriers.

Essential qualifications
- Completion of a university degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Five (5) years of related experience
- Project Management training or certification
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Travel may be required throughout the province as per projects' needs. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.
Asset qualifications
- Experience managing projects across multiple functional areas;
- Experience in the management of IT initiatives within a high-pressure environment;
- Certification in Change Management;
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma;
- Experience with analytics/KPIs.

Wage
$66,924 - $93,470 annually - Pay Band 5
