What you will be doing…
- Assist the Facilities Manager in the preparation of project documentation including safety inspections, reports, and training.
- Maintaining an organized project filing system, both electronically and hardcopy.
- Assume overall responsibility for administrative matters of a more general nature, such as registry and maintenance of project files and records.
- Assist in the tracking, processing and payment of project invoices.
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs.
- Assist in all aspects of the development and maintaining the College's Safety Management System.
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a relevant post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or other relevant discipline.
- In addition, you possess training in WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety regulations as well as Standard First Aid, and CPR
- You have a minimum of 3 years work experience within the Facilities Management sector or related occupational support field.
- You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail,
- You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work
