Salary:
NS30 of the RNUNL Salary Scale (CAD41.99 - CAD52.26 per hour) Subject to classification review.
Financial incentives may be available and can be combined including:

Qualifications:
? Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing program is required;
? Current and continuing practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL) is required;
? Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR);
? The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Duties: (Included but not limited to)
? Organizing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for assigned clients including but not limited to: medical-surgical, long term care, special care, and mental health/addictions, in both an inpatient and an emergency setting;
? Participating in the auditing process as required;
? Documenting as per professional and organizational standards;
? Administering medication and participates in Medication Reconciliation;
? Participating in the orientation, mentorship and perceptoring of staff;
? Representing nursing on various committees as required;
? Participating in quality assurance initiatives as requested/required;
? Practicing independently according to professional and organizational standards;
? Acting as a liaison between the client and other healthcare providers;
? Other related duties as required.
