Job Title: Skilled Labourer
Location: Shearwater, Nova Scotia
Shift: Monday to Friday, Short-Term Assignments
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We're looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to assist our client in Shearwater, with general labour tasks. This position involves a variety of physical duties and requires someone who can follow direction, work safely, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, picks, shovels, sledgehammers)
• Move, pile, and transport materials such as rocks, stones, and debris
• Use a wheelbarrow and other equipment to move materials around the site
• Perform lifting and general site organization tasks
• Assist with site cleanup and ensure a safe, tidy work environment
• Follow direction from the site supervisor and complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must provide your own hard hat and steel-toed boots
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet all day
• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset (not required)
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team setting
