We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Systems Analyst. This position serves as a strategic bridge between business operations and technology, driving improvements across Country Ribbon Inc.'s systems, processes, and infrastructure. This role blends business analysis with infrastructure operational support, ensuring that core systems - from ERP and reporting platforms to plant-floor integrations - are optimized for performance, reliability, and compliance. The analyst plays a key role in aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals, supporting both enterprise data flows and the underlying infrastructure that powers them.
Duties and Responsibilities?
Key expectations for this role will include:
- Conduct business process analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Recommend and implement system solutions by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and determining project specifications
- Collaborate with business units and IT to refine data flows and system performance
- Develop user manuals, provide training, and offer ongoing support to help employees effectively use new or improved systems.
- Provide ongoing support for technology related business processes
- Analyze and document business requirements to guide the creation of effective technology solutions
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and integration maps
- Facilitate communication between business units and technology to ensure mutual understanding and project alignment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements for new or updated systems
- Create detailed reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Provide training and support to users on existing or improved systems and processes
- Monitor business system performance and resolve any issues that arise
- Facilitate communications on process changes, enhancements, and modifications to ensure issues and solutions are agreed to and understood
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and integration maps
- Ensure audit trails and data governance across all systems.
- Support regulatory compliance and best practices through accurate reporting and traceability.
Is role right for you?
If you are highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. This role requires proven technical skills and strong problem solving capabilities. You will have completed a post-secondary Computer Science or Information Technology program. This will be combined with 8+ years of experience as a Business Syytems Analyst preferably in a manufacturing environment. Exceptional Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Access and Power BI and Microsoft certification in Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) & Azure Fundamentals or Azure Data Engineer are required. SQL Server or SSRS certification and proficiency in T-SQL, database administration and ETL processes will also be essential.
