As a Casino Supervisor, you will guide a team of slot attendants and dealers under the direction of the Assistant Casino Manager, ensuring exceptional guest experience while upholding game integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily casino operations, offering clear direction and sound judgment when guest or employee concerns arise
- Approve transactions in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Schedule staff, assign shift duties, monitor their performance, and help create a positive, high-performing team environment
- Provide on job coaching and collaborate on staff performance evaluations
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
- Promote healthy play practices
- Make recommendations to management to enhance guest and employee experiences, and contribute ideas that strengthen our culture and elevate overall operations
- Provide support to other departments as required, collaborating cross-functionally and modeling strong interdepartmental relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum three years leadership experience, ideally in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience coaching and mentoring team members
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software applications and strong mathematical skills required
- Ability to make informed decisions promptly
- Responsible Beverage Certification
- Previous casino experience is considered a strong asset
- University degree considered an asset
Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
