DA - Dietary Aide

Job Title: Dietary Aid
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: 4-8 hour shifts only between hours of 6:00am-7:00pm - weekend availability
Wage: $24.30 /HR
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dietary Aid to join their team. The right fit for this position will have previous experience in this field and be focused on safe, effective preparation, delivery, and service of meals and nourishment to residents in a long-term care home facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meal preparation and delivery
• Ensure kitchen is clean and sanitized
• Assist cook with putting away orders
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time
• Clean dishes, pots, and dietary equipment
• Understanding and commitment to the Gentle Care philosophy

Job Requirements:

• Safe Food Handler Certification preferred
• Proof of Food Service Workers Certificate or proof of enrollment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Commitment to client/resident-centered service and care
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Great work ethic
