We are searching for a Temporary Full-Time Sales Representative (1 year Contract) to join our Parkland Ancaster team based in Ancaster, Ontario.

Parkland is unique. Here, we offer residents the opportunity to move in with us, knowing they will never have to move again, as we offer everything they will need in one location. The incumbent in this position will focus on our newest buildings on our breathtaking 11-acre campus. Known as Griffin Hall, these buildings will offer 152 premium suites to seniors looking to live life to its fullest. Within Griffin Hall you will find an abundance of incredible amenity space, including lounge areas, activity centre, fitness studio, pool, hot tub and more which residents of Parkland Ancaster, along with the local community, will enjoy to stay healthy, well and vibrant.

What will you do
- Maintain and manage the client funnel for independent living residents interested in Griffin Hall (e.g. inquiry tracking, requests for accommodation, referrals, follow-up process; and tracking all sales activity and leads in a database);
- Meet potential residents either in their home or on site to share information about Parkland Ancaster, Griffin Hall and the Ancaster Club, responding to information requests from potential residents and completing bookings for permanent and short-term resident stays as required.
- Provide tours to prospective residents, their loved ones and other interested parties.
- Support interested seniors through the process of the challenging decision of selecting a new home.
- Support development of a sales strategy for the Ancaster Club;
- Manage all aspects of the sales process for Griffin Hall to help seniors interested in premium senior living make the decision to choose a retirement community.
- Develop and executing quarterly sales and marketing plans to deliver on budgeted occupancy objectives.
- Engage in relevant outreach programs that build relationships and generates referrals through local groups and networks.
- Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to develop advertising and promotional strategies.
- Attain targets for leading sales indicators and other key performance measures that drive awareness, sales and occupancy.
About You
You are a skilled real estate or professional sales representative with a track record of success in the luxury market. You demonstrate confidence, ambition, and professionalism, and excel in collaborative and high-performing environments.
You want nothing more than to create experiences for your clients where they can live their best lives.
You understand that sales success is rooted in relationship building and discovery. You get excited about challenges and opportunities and enjoy innovating and finding ways to overcome what would stop others from moving forward and are motivated by a role where compensation is tied to results.
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- A successful track record in premium or luxury real estate sales such as condominiums.
- Strong knowledge of the local geography of Hamilton / Ancaster required.
- Strong network within the Ancaster / Hamilton area of professional contacts, groups and associations catering to seniors who live independently.
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management software (Yardi preferred)
- A valid Class G Driver's License, with a reliable personal vehicle.
- Previous experience in working with older adults in a long-term care or a seniors' independent living environment considered an asset.
