Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, you will provide strong technical and analytical skills in support of the real property needs within division.­ Must possess legal knowledge of real property in terms of easements, leases, grants and license to occupy, etc.­ You will be primarily responsible for research, compilation and reporting of real property interest and titles including researching property requirements for capital and operations projects, replying to referral agencies, acquisition of land titles and reporting the same to the team lead.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Need:

  • ­A University Degree in Geography supplemented with knowledge or experience in CAD or GIS. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with real property and land titles.
  • Knowledge of land systems such as Registry of Deeds and Land Use NL Atlas.
  • Proficient with MS Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • General knowledge of the hydro electric utility or other capital-intensive industry would be considered an asset.
