Job Title: Driver Helper

Location: Smiths Falls, ON

Shift: Monday-Friday

Wage: $20.00/hr

Our customer in Smiths Falls is looking for an energetic, dependable, and hardworking driver helper. Driver helpers will assist local drivers in collecting residential waste and ensure excellent customer service is provided throughout every day.

Job Description:

• Working alongside a D driver, operating a Rear Loader Truck
• Assisting with collecting residential garbage in and around the Kingston area
• Must be physically fit and comfortable with consistently lifting throughout the shift
• Communicate effectively with the driver
• Provide excellent customer service
• Pay attention to detail and your surrounding areas

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to consistently lift bags of waste materials up to 50 lbs
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• CSA-approved work boots
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Good attitude towards the workplace and coworkers
