We're looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Dartmouth, NS. As one of the region's most respected law firms, we offer a collaborative environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage corporate transactions including incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations
• Draft and revise contracts, agreements, bylaws, resolutions, and filings
• Maintain corporate records and minute books
• Conduct legal research and prepare regulatory filings
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance
• Assist in due-diligence investigations
• Communicate with clients and external partners
• Use legal management software (Actionstep, Soluno, iManage, LexisNexis)
• Mentor junior staff and support learning culture
• Assist with billing and client payments
• Stay current with industry best practices
• File and register necessary corporate registrations (PPSA)

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in corporate law
• Diploma or certificate in paralegal studies
• Advanced skills in MS Office and legal software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Experience mentoring junior staff is an asset

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Status: Permanent, Full Time
• Probation: Three-month period
• Salary: Commensurate with experience
