JOB SUMMARY :

The Regional Corporate Director of Logistics and Patient Flow reports directly to the Vice-President of Clinical Logistics. The incumbent is responsible for supervising, managing and optimizing logistical operations and patient flow at the regional and local levels (Zone 4). They provide expertise in clinical logistics and patient flow, ensuring seamless pathways and processes across all the Network's hospitals.

They oversee the planning, coordination and efficiency of logistics and patient flow activities, while ensuring optimal use of material and human resources. They contribute to the implementation of harmonized, safe processes, fostering an environment conducive to the delivery of quality care and a positive patient experience.

The Corporate Director implements continuous improvement initiatives, analyzes performance data, identifies causes and develops concrete recommendations based on regional needs. They identify and disseminate best practices in logistics and patient flow, and introduce innovative solutions tailored to regional needs. They participate in continuous improvement, modernization and clinical integration projects.

As a regional and local representative, they actively collaborate with community partners, local organizations and government agencies to promote the coordination of services and strengthen ties between the hospital and the community. They play a key role in regional planning, responding to the needs of the population and enhancing the Network's profile in the community.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, administration or clinical field;
  • Master's degree in business administration, public administration or health services management, an asset;
  • Lean Sigma certification, an asset;
  • Eight to ten years of professional experience relevant to the position and/or in health services management;
  • Excellent knowledge of the hospital system, its administration and its legal framework;
  • Experience in project management and multidisciplinary leadership;
  • Experience managing projects of a regional scope;
  • Experience in data management and analysis;
  • Demonstrated ability to work using a results-driven approach;
  • Excellent understanding of clinical and logistical hospital processes;
  • Ability to analyze and optimize patient pathways (emergency, hospitalization, transfers and discharges);
  • Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Solid skills in strategic planning and analysis of performance indicators;
  • Excellent rapid problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to perform in a constantly changing and high-pressure environment;
  • Strong change management skills;
  • Demonstrated dynamic and innovative approach;
  • Motivating leadership and ability to inspire buy-in and commitment;
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and outside field of expertise;
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written);
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
