Title : Community Health Coordinator

In this role, you will :

• Help coordinate the day to day delivery of the Health Equipment Loan Program and Meals on Wheels program and support cleaning of health equipment.
• Maintain inventory records on loans, returns and statistics in accordance with program policies and procedures.
• Coordinate day to day administrative functions such as managing the front desk, financial transactions and ensuring all information flow to public is timely and accurate.
• Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to provide for a coordinated team effort to meet the needs of the vulnerable in our communities.

What we are looking for :

• The minimum qualifications for this job are completion of post-secondary education or diploma in a health-related field with one to three years of job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple issues simultaneously in a complex client-based environment.
• Sound decision making abilities, combined with strong organizational and communication skills, are essential.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and administrative skills.
• Previous experience working with volunteers or seniors considered an asset.
• Ability to do medium to heavy lifting.
