Who are you?
- You have a university degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline
- You have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in account management, business development, working with early stage to mature companies, and developing company or industry files. **An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered**
- You must have strong presentation skills and be proficient in the use of electronic office software, database and office computer programs
- You possess general financial knowledge
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail, organization skills and ability to prioritize deliverables
- You are a highly motivated professional that is passionate about growing NB
- You possess exceptional analytical skills and have demonstrated a strong ability to detect areas of concern and develop innovative business solutions
- You are effective at prioritizing, monitoring and managing multiple client accounts at once
- You enjoy working with others and possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
- You possess well-developed relationship management skills
As a Business Development Executive with the Business Growth team at ONB, you will:
- Report to the Director of Business Growth
- Be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of businesses
- Provide guidance and support to entrepreneurs with expansion, acquisition, consolidation, and development of their businesses
- Develop and manage projects
- Conduct appropriate analysis to determine project viability
- Analyze financial assistance requests
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the region, job market and government organizations
- Liaise with businesses, financial institutions, government departments and agencies
Language:
Written and spoken competence in French and English is required. Please state your language capability.
Location and hours:
The position will be based in the Bouctouche/Miramichi Region. You may be required to travel occasionally outside of the region and work beyond normal business hours of 8:15am-4:30pm in response to client needs.
