Job Description:
- Closely Work with PO/BSA/POD team to gain an understanding of business requirements, design and create test plan, test cases, participate in all aspects of testing.
- Create Test plan and walkthrough with POD Team and get all required approvals
- Attend pre PI and PI meeting and make sure properly forecasted QE activities for the upcoming PI
- Provide support to the QE lead/QE Manager with tasks and ad hoc requests as required.
- Responsible for designing effective test Scenarios /Test cases using Automated based approach and test design techniques.
- Leverage the existing automation frameworks, tools, and artefacts to ensure testing process is continuous, comprehensive, and fully autonomous.
- Create Defects in JTMF/Conduct triage
- Actively work with automation lead and support automation initiatives
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 to 8 years Mainframe testing experience (Mainframe Screen/Database IMS DB & DB2.)
- Strong BFS domain knowledge with applications such as Investments (GIC/TFSA/RIO /RRSP /Term etc) /Deposit accounts/Loans /Line of credits /Debit cards, Credit cards, ATM & P0S
- Hands on experience in API Testing Hands on experience in creating Test Scripts with Java, Selenium, Rest assured
- Expertise in creating automation frameworks and tools /Modification of existing framework
- Experience with developing API automated test scripts ensuring they are integrated to continuous integration, delivery and test (CI/CD) Pipelines for Functional and Nonfunctional automation using available frameworks
- Expertise in Applying the principles of BDD (Behavior Driven development ) and focus on value driven out comes with multiple stake holders
- Hand on experience with GIT-(Bitbucket) version control tools
- Hand on experience in Jira /JTMF , and Confluence
- Experience with Test data management tool
- Hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Selenium, code review, automation
- Experience in Participating in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews
- Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression
- Experience in Working with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
- SAFe/Scrum, Certificate would be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with batch testing and Host file creation

- 6-8 years relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate
