Job Description
What is the opportunity?
As an RBC Ambassador, you create value at the moments that matter most to newcomers and help them achieve their goals by collaborating with your colleagues and partners at RBC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing partnerships with local community organizations that support newcomers' settlement. This role, which requires mobility and flexibility, is key to organizing and delivering advisory events for community partners. This unique position leverages your expertise in digital advising and your ability to build internal and external Together at RBC partnerships to maximize interactions.
Specifically, you and your team will address the everyday banking, credit, and investment needs of both clients and non-clients (primarily newcomers), as well as other needs that extend beyond traditional banking services. Whether you're showing newcomers how to use digital banking, assisting with their onboarding as new clients, referring them to a specialist for their more complex transactions, or providing guidance beyond RBC's standard offerings—for example, on adapting to Canadian culture, understanding community needs, or entering the job market—your expertise will contribute to delivering a memorable experience that fosters satisfaction and loyalty.
You will work from home and will be required to travel within the market.
What will you do?
Create and develop partnerships with newcomer services and settlement agencies to enable RBC to reach as many newcomers as possible in Quebec.
Applying the Together at RBC principle as an advisor, you possess extensive expertise in providing advice in everyday banking, investments, and credit, leveraging this expertise to offer individuals and businesses a robust, digitally focused experience.
Focus on educating newcomers, including through demonstrations, and leverage technology to deliver a memorable customer experience, enhance the brand, and build customer loyalty.
Explore, innovate, and promote excellence in both the customer and partner experience.
Collaborate with internal (Together at RBC) and external partners to ensure newcomers receive personalized and specialized advice.
Travel within the region to meet with community partners and clients as needed.
