Port Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the maintenance program at our mill. You will lead a team of maintenance supervisors, planners and skilled tradespeople. As maintenance manager you will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of a new Centralized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Maintenance Manager is responsible for budgeted equipment availability and working together with Operations and Engineering to meet this goal. This role also involves interfacing with Purchasing and Accounting, and other departments, as well as networking with suppliers, consultants and others as required.
Experience/Education Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have significant maintenance experience in conjunction with progressively increasing responsibilities in the field. Experience in a manufacturing or related industrial unionized environment with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a supervisory role. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the paper industry and third-party accreditations in maintenance and reliability management. Previous leadership experience and training is considered an asset.
