Senior Planning Coordinator

Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This position executes activities related to staffing process oversight and financial governance, support and reconciliation including invoice processing and tracking, SOW-WA and contract oversight and governance, spend reporting reconciliation and expenditure tracking. This position is part of a global team responsible for the compliance and support of activities and functions in accordance with T&O and for the Investor Services Business Technology (IS BT).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Oversee and manage staffing request process for all IS BT Contract staff, ensuring compliance to Statement of Work and Work Authorizations

• Champion and execute continuous improvement in planning & staffing processes.

• Contribute to ITAS Performance management review with key vendors

• Oversees Professional fees- related reporting, develop and maintain relevant metrics

• Ensure consistency in tracking and reporting

• Manage and support transit updates, changes, and reporting, and assist in regular financial review meetings with Transit Owners.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to Transit Owners to increase financial maturity within the organization.

• Participate in annual planning and scheduling sessions, and provide backup coverage for financial support staff as needed

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Strong stakeholder interaction and management

• Solid understanding and usage of Microsoft Suite of Applications

• Good business experience and judgement

• Strong verbal & written communication / collaboration skills

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

• High degree of initiative and sense of urgency

Nice-to-have:

• Degree educated or equivalent experience

• Educational background in Finance an asset

• Project management experience an asset

• Financial Services banking environment experience
