Job Description

Are you a passionate talent acquisition professional who thrives on connecting top talent with meaningful opportunities?

At Medavie, we're not just filling roles-we're shaping the future of healthcare, insurance, and community impact. As a Bilingual High-Volume Recruitment Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in finding and engaging exceptional talent to join our teams.

You will lead the hiring of our Contact Centres with multiple new hire classes starting each month. This is a fast-paced role, managing multiple requisitions simultaneously, and ensuring staffing deadlines are consistently achieved.

The Role:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from posting and sourcing candidates to conducting pre-screening interviews, partnering with leaders to facilitate interviews, presenting offers, outlining a full total rewards package and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
  • Meet monthly class mandates for all Contact Centre teams with precise timelines, often with multiple overlapping classes
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, leveraging social media, networking, job boards, community outreach and virtual/onsite career fairs
  • Partner closely with Contact Centre Leaders, Training and WFM to forecast staffing needs and align recruitment strategies
  • Track high-volume recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, class fill rates, candidate pipeline, turnover, retention, candidate source, etc.) and report progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain and utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) effectively to manage the recruitment workflow
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience while moving applicants through the process
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and implement innovative strategies to enhance the talent acquisition process.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) - required
  • Expert-level proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential (we use Workday) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products - especially Excel to track and report your recruitment KPIs
  • 2-4 years of high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in a call centre, hiring agency, or in-house partnering with customer service stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities
  • Demonstrated success filling large monthly hiring classes under tight timelines
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to recruitment challenges
  • Proven ability to work independently and make decisions with autonomy
  • Strong sourcing ability across multiple channels, with experience targeting call centre and customer service talent pools
