Job Offer: Class 1 Driver - Shunter

Hourly Wage: $26.00

Evening and/or Weekend Premium: +$2.00/hour

Schedule: Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. 8- to 12-hour shifts.

Location: Montreal, Quebec

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 drivers with trailer switching experience for a full-time, local position with a stable schedule. The position involves moving trailers in a busy yard (200+ trailers) where compliance with safety standards is a top priority. Bilingualism (French and English) and a strong commitment to safety are required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough 15-minute inspections before each shift.
• Strictly follow established procedures and protocols.
• Drive safely and efficiently.
• Move trailers within the yard according to dispatch instructions.
• Work as a team and demonstrate a positive, problem-solving attitude.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Shunting or local deliveries (City P&D).
• Clean driving record.
• Safety and compliance orientation.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
