Qualifications:
? Completion of a recognized program in Medical Radiation Technology or Diagnostic Ultrasonography is required
? Bachelor?s degree in technology, Business, a health-related discipline, or other related discipline is required
? Education in healthcare management from a recognized/approved institution is preferred
? Education and/or certification in Project management is an asset
? A minimum of five years of experience within the last seven working in multi-discipline Medical Imaging Department is required
? Experience working in a leadership or management role is required, preferably in a health care environment
? Knowledge of human resource management, financial management and operations management
? Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills
? Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and engage staff
? Demonstrated strong collaboration and team building skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
? Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills and innovation in problem-solving and decision making
? Demonstrated skills in change management and quality/process improvement
? Demonstrated effective management, analytical, and supervisory skills
? Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
? Demonstrated ability to function in a high-pressure, diverse and changing environment
? Ability to foster a positive working relationship with individuals and groups, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization
? Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work requirements
? Ability to function in a high pressure, diverse and changing environment

? Current or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or Sonography Canada is required

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
?
