Title: Development Officer-Corporate Giving Account Management

In this role, you will:
- Assisting in the identification, cultivation, and maintenance of relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, planned
giving prospects, and granting organizations through research, analysis, and donor segmentation. - Contributing to the development of tailored engagement strategies (e.g., proposals, applications) under the guidance of senior team members.
- Leading solicitation efforts with a focus on donor retention and pipeline development.
- Collaborating with senior team members to execute fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborating with senior team members to ensure effective stewardship of donor relationships.
- Conducting research to identify funding opportunities, track industry trends, and support the optimization of fundraising efforts.
- Supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising initiatives, including campaigns, donor engagement and
recognition programs, and special events. - Monitoring and analyzing fundraising performance metrics, maintaining accurate donor records, and adjusting strategies to
meet revenue targets. - Upholding ethical fundraising standards, donor privacy regulations, and industry best practices to maintain trust and
organizational integrity. - Providing guidance and support to staff and volunteers involved in campaign and event execution.
- Collaborating with internal teams and leadership to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and organizational priorities.
- Working with external vendors, agencies, and partners to implement digital and direct marketing strategies: Accountable for soliciting corporate contributions, managing partner relationships, and ensuring fulfillment of
partnership agreements.
What we are looking for:
- minimum of 4-7 years of experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in fundraising,
communications, marketing, business, nonprofit management, or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience supporting digital or direct marketing fundraising campaigns, donor relations, corporate partnerships, grant writing, planned giving, writing donor communications, and coordinating stewardship or recognition initiatives.
- Ability to identify, investigate and analyze problems, identify root causes and risks, and apply technical, functional and
organizational knowledge to develop solutions. - Communication skills, diplomacy and empathy to interpret information and deliver advice, clarify client or stakeholder needs, offer solutions, and resolve escalations in new or somewhat sensitive situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to support communication, collaboration, and document management.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor engagement, and stewardship practices.
- Knowledge of ethical fundraising standards and donor privacy regulations
