Definition of work:
Reporting to the Manager of Site Operations at Green Bay Health Centre, this Manager will be accountable for delivering a seamless continuum of services to the residents of Springdale. This includes operational responsibilities for LTC. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Director of Health Services, Regional Program Directors/Managers, Manager of Site Operations, Physicians and local networks as well as individual community groups and organizations. The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.
Required qualifications:
The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual, able to apply his/her creativity in assisting the ongoing operation and development of Client Care Services in the Green Bay Health Services Area.
? A Bachelor?s Degree in a health related discipline
? Experience in a long term care and rural health setting
? Experience and training in management including organizational change, utilization management, strategic planning, budgeting, quality initiatives, etc
? Strong interpersonal, communication and human relations skills
? Demonstrated analytical and conflict resolution skills
? Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
? Consistent demonstration of NL Health Service's core values; Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (ICARE)
? A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position
? A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority
