JOB SUMMARY:

Obtain, prepare and distribute drugs and pharmaceutical products, check the accuracy of drugs prepared by others, meet with patients to gather information about their medications and give them instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and licensed to practise in New Brunswick

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
• Good work history (performance and attendance)
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values
• Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules

NOTES:

1. Additional requirements may be needed depending on the sector concerned.
2. Candidates who are registered with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists as pharmacy technician students (with the goal of obtaining registration as a pharmacy technician to the schedule set by the College) are also encouraged to apply for this position.
