FGNB298 - Junior Policy Analyst
Internship Placement for Winter 2026 Term

Location: 70 York Street, Fredericton or Remote
Number of placements: 1 - 2
Salary: $18.00/hour
Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)
Placement Duration: January - April 2026
Department: Post-Secondary Education Training and Labor (PETL)
Placement Description: This placement offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced policy environment with the Accessibility Office, which leads the implementation of the Accessibility Act. The student will support a variety of tasks related to research, policy development, and operations while collaborating with different government departments and community stakeholders to help make New Brunswick more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.
Need to have:
- Language requirement: English or Bilingual
- Studying in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Sociology or related field
Nice to have: The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to analyze policy, and experience summarizing information clearly and concisely for different audiences.
