Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Temporary to Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and some Saturdays (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Job Overview:
Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a Customer Service Coordinator on behalf of our client, a busy service department seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused individual. This role involves providing front-line support to customers, coordinating service department activities, and performing administrative and accounting tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the service counter in a professional and courteous manner.
- Receive and process customer equipment for repair, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Coordinate service department workflow to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Prepare and process work orders, POS transactions, and related administrative paperwork.
- Perform accounting and data entry tasks related to the service department.
- Communicate with customers regarding service updates, parts availability, and equipment pickup.
- Maintain organized inventory records of equipment and parts in for repair.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or a service coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic accounting or POS experience considered an asset.
- Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of lawn and garden tools.
