Services Contract

The Maritime Odd Fellows Home is seeking a regular Hairdresser to provide weekly services to the Residents of the Home in the Home's Salon. Under the direction of the Director of Therapeutic Services, the Hairdresser is an integral and valuable provider of our Resident Services team, key to the Residents' well-being in that they provide hairdressing and grooming services for the Residents.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain working relationships.
• Promote and maintain the safety of the Residents and staff.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of respecting Residents' rights, including respecting others, maintaining confidentiality, promoting independence, respecting privacy, respecting the right to refuse services and involvement.

Requirements:

• Current membership with the Cosmetology Association of NS
• Must use your own product and equipment (salon sink, salon chair, hood dryer, bureau and mirror included with room rental).
• Experience in LTC an asset
