Bay Side Home is a licensed long-term care facility, located at 96 Bayside Drive in Barrington, and home to sixty-two residents.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the housekeeper is responsible for providing residents and staff with clean, comfortable surroundings on a daily basis in accordance with all standards for long-term care. You will work collaboratively with residents, their families, and the Bay Side Home team to provide "Care at its Best".

In this role, you will:

• Complete housekeeping and laundry duties as outlined in the position description.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the home.
• Follow and demonstrate safe work practices at all times.
• Work closely with assigned household/neighborhood teams during meal times to assist with serving, dining, and clean-up.
• Maintain awareness of the specific needs and preferences of each resident.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, food services, or long-term care is considered an asset.
• Willingness to embrace a person-driven culture and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow established safety protocols and infection control practices.
