Job Description
What is the opportunity?
To support the Investment Grade, Asset Back, High Yield & CLO syndicated new issuances.
The role is intended to ensure operational efficiency, minimize risk and assure compliance with internal and external regulations for DCM syndicate offerings.
This role involves frequent communication with the trading desks, and provides seamless execution of the operational aspects of the desks.
What will you do?
Acquiring DTC, Euroclear, and Canadian Depositary System eligibility in addition to liaising with transfer agents to effect accurate and timely settlement of Lead managed issues.
Prepare final settlement letters for underwriters on Lead managed issues. This includes collecting expenses, creating p&l and final settlement letters.
Wiring of monies for settlement of syndicate issues, and payment of any related vendor invoices.
Communication with syndicate members and disbursement of final settlement fees.
Adherence to Standing Orders for funds disbursement, and remaining versed/aware of internal funding limits
Collection of fees for non-lead deals.
Detailed and accurate recording of all deal transactions, statistics and details
Manage settlements effectively to avoid operational risk, regulatory violations or reputational risk.
Transmittal of monies and payments with accurate due diligence, thereby mitigating risk.
Time reporting of funding requirements, securing needed funding and meeting Firm capital guidelines
