What you will do:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will work directly with the Director of développement de la petite enfance DSF-NE to provide crucial administrative support to our team. You'll handle a range of tasks with independence, judgement, and attention to detail.
Who you are:
The successful candidate will:
- Respond to general early childhood inquiries;
- Maintain and update files in various databases;
- Process submitted invoices while adhering to internal processing deadlines;
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents and/or emails provided by the team;
- Follow up on and coordinate correspondence and notes from various meetings;
- Monitor and verify budgets on a monthly basis;
- Assist with the logistics of meetings and/or conferences;
- Ensure smooth office operations;
- Order supplies and monitor inventory;
- Communicate with and respond to inquiries from childcare services by phone and by email;
- Perform other related duties.
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Need to have:
- Two-year post-secondary program in the area of administrative professional, office management, or business administration, and a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
ASL 3 - $1,625 - $1,971 biweekly.
Work environment:
- Tracadie, Centre d'appui du DSFNE (3376 Rue Principale)
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30
