Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a talented and driven technical change manager to strengthen our change management practices by combining traditional change governance with technical oversight. The successful candidate will join our Enterprise IT Change Management leadership team and oversee the day-to-day management of hundreds of change requests, ensuring compliance with process standards and technical validation for risk, execution quality, and impact.

What will do you do?

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the organization's technical landscape
  • Review change requests for compliance and technical feasibility
  • Assess technical risks, including potential worst-case scenarios and business impact
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure changes are properly tested and validated
  • Identify and assess the potential impact of changes on various IT systems
  • Define and validate post-implementation verification requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes are risk-assessed from both technical and business perspectives
  • Support continuous improvement of the change management process; Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and operational risk
  • Familiarity with change testing methods, validation practices, and post-change monitoring techniques
  • Strong leadership capabilities, communication skills and a strategic mindset
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and platforms
  • Ability to critically evaluate technical risks and system impacts
  • Technical certifications or background in areas such as infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, or application development

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity principles
  • Knowledge of release management, deployment processes, and problem management methodologies
