Industry Development Manager

PictureNL is looking for an individual to fill the following full-time position:

Industry Development Manager

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Industry Development Manager is responsible for the development and administration of all professional development initiatives of PictureNL while identifying the human resource and professional development training needs of the industry.

The Industry Development Manager is responsible for preparing and coordinating all aspects of events and workshops to be offered by PictureNL and will develop the overall structure and objectives of all producer trade missions, organizing the yearly calendar of trade shows and trade missions and managing all aspects of the coordination and planning process of these missions.

In consultation with the CEO, the Industry Development Manager will oversee the communications and marketing functions of PictureNL, acting as the point person for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador to promote the province as a filming location both nationally and internationally. The Industry Development Manager will identify promotional opportunities for filming in the province and will promote all programs and incentives of PictureNL.

The Industry Development Manager will provide close liaison with representatives of the film industry on a provincial, national, and international level.

The ideal incumbent will possess a combination of:

• University degree
• Minimum of five years' management experience
• Demonstrated experience at a senior level in the film, television and new media industry.

Salary to commensurate with experience.
