Kent Homes is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to join their senior leadership team as Director of Operations Support. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our modular construction operations.

Role Description:

As Director of Operations Support, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for optimizing logistics, supply chain, and quality assurance processes. You'll champion a safety-first culture, lead continuous improvement efforts, and mentor a high-performing team to support Kent Homes' mission of delivering exceptional modular construction solutions.

Kent Homes welcomes candidates from logistics, engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance backgrounds, especially those with experience in building and scaling QA systems. As the ideal candidate, you are passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion a Safety-First Culture

  • Lead the development and implementation of safety programs and best practices to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Build and Optimize Operational Systems

  • Oversee and enhance logistics, supply chain, and quality assurance functions to support production goals, improve efficiency, and drive profitability.

Develop Quality Assurance Frameworks

  • Design and implement robust QA processes and systems to ensure product consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Process Improvement

  • Identify, lead, and execute initiatives that streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall performance across departments.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and coach a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless operations and build strong, lasting partnerships.

Future-Focused Leadership

  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and organizational development, with the potential to transition into broader leadership roles.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is considered a strong asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in operational support or leadership roles with financial accountability.
  • Experience in modular construction or large-scale process improvement is highly desirable.
  • Professional designations in operations or management; Lean Six Sigma or project management certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex challenges and drive strategic initiatives.
