The salary scale for Professional Support 3 is based on steps that range from $72,470.25 - $93,456.74. New Professional Support employees may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $81,859.58 annually.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing…

You will be responsible for the management of student records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, as well as timely and appropriate distribution of student information. You will collaborate with the Manager of Student Services and Student Services team members, Academic Chairs and faculty, College Registrarial team, and the Campus Principal on enrollment management issues and provide insight and analysis into enrollment trends.

Specific duties and accountabilities will include:

  • Apply expert records management processes in the maintenance of student records.
  • Maintain timelines, accuracy and confidentiality of student records.
  • Maintain consistency in recordkeeping in accordance with College policies and procedures.
  • As a PeopleSoft Power User, regularly review transcripts, enrolments, as well as any campus data entry that impacts enrolment.
  • Communicate with staff and students (in person, in writing and electronically) regarding a variety of College policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is an undergraduate degree. A degree focused in Education, Adult Education, or Business Administration would be considered an asset. In addition, Advanced Excel certification or equivalent training is considered an asset.

  • You have a minimum of three (3) years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience. Your occupational experience focuses on data, records management and relationship building within an educational/academic environment with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and e-mail. Working with Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA/macros for automation and data modeling would be considered an asset.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.
  • You have experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students.

Additionally, you demonstrate a proven track record of consistently following policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high standards in all tasks
  • You have strong project management skills.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, with proven ability to leverage technology to streamline processes, support group advising and improve efficiency.
  • You are dedicated to life-long learning and actively embrace emerging technologies to continuously enhance your skills and adapt to evolving institutional or operational needs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technology issues and adopt new tools quickly.
