DEPARTMENT OF FRENCH
The Department of French offers courses in language, literature, and linguistics at the undergraduate level, and administers the Centre for Resources in French which hosts activities throughout the academic term.

Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 15 hours per week

YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Chair, this position supervises 2-3 student tutors and a social media coordinator, plan and organize activities such as guest speakers, game nights and film nights, and serve as liaison between the centre and its partners at UNB and in the francophone community of Fredericton
- Supervise student tutors and a social media and promotions student assistant.
- Plan and organize other activities at the centre including weekly conversational groups, occasional guest speakers, games nights, film nights, social nights, and other activities in coordination with UNB partners and external guests.
- Keep records of activities and track effectiveness of centre through annual reports which include financial and activity reports, as well as usage by students.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience as a tutor, French teacher or instructor in the public or private sector or related field, and experience managing small teams.
- Must possess fluent levels of written and oral French as well as superior communication skills.
