About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering great customer service? Join our team as a Project Information Specialist, where you'll play a key role in managing and sharing construction project data through our member portal. You'll be the go-to person for project inquiries and document processing, helping our members stay informed and supported.
What You'll Do
As a Project Information Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our project data operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and managing project data: Collect construction tender information from public and private sources and input it into our CANSnet system (member portal and project hub).
- Maintaining project records: Update project details with bid results, contract awards, and other relevant news.
- Member and public support: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person at our reception area, providing clear and helpful information.
- Commissioner of Oaths duties: Obtain and maintain certification to act as a Commissioner of Oaths for construction-related documents.
- Document handling and printing: Process and fulfill orders for construction documents and printing services.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with the Projects team and other departments to support shared goals and special assignments.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a great fit if you have:
- Exceptional attention to detail: Accuracy in data entry and document handling is essential.
- Strong computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning new systems.
- Excellent communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Time management and multitasking: Able to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
- Team spirit and independence: Comfortable working collaboratively and independently.
- Industry awareness: Familiarity with the non-residential construction industry is an asset.
- Education and experience: Diploma or certificate in Office Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in construction or document management is a plus.
- Clean criminal record check: Required for this role.
