Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, and passionate individual to join our team as a Physician Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have 3-5 experience in full-cycle recruitment with a Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Who you are
You are a passionate and strategic recruitment expert with a demonstrated track record of identifying, securing, and retaining talent. You have a worked in a Talent Acquisition role for a minimum of 3 years. You have experience in recruitment marketing strategy, candidate management tools, and participating in job fairs and/or career events, with an intermediate to advanced proficiency level proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.
International recruitment, immigration, and healthcare experience would be considered assets.
Education requirement:
Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources with previous recruitment experience.
- Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level. Bilingual in French/English is a requirement
What you will do
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and specialization in workforce planning analytics and trends.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and specialization regarding talent acquisition business requirements.
- Strengthen employer brand aligned to Horizon's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Support the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies.
- Act as a strategic business partner within Horizon with the ability to build relationships with key business partners both internally and externally to support talent acquisition initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert when participating in cross-departmental committees and project teams on talent acquisition initiatives.
- Responsible for the talent acquisition daily operations including all onboarding requirements.
- Attending Recruitment events (National/International)
- Support settlement services through active engagement of employer, community, and government available services.
- Maintain candidate engagement and relationships in support of current and projected recruitment needs.
- Determine, recommend, and implement best practice sourcing, screening, and selection methods.
- Responsible for providing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports as required by the Medical Staff Office.
- Recommend campus recruitment efforts to partner and participate in (e.g., career fairs).
- Collaborate directly with the regional Talent Acquisition Coordinators, Medical Office Staff, Clinical Department Heads, Department of Health, etc.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on best practice talent acquisition best practice initiatives.
This position requires occasional evening and weekend availability, along with travel approximately 25% of the time
