MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking an Intermediate Municipal Engineer or Technologist to join our team in our MPE Regina office.

The ideal candidate is a professional engineer or licensee who is a self-starter, eager to work on diverse and impactful infrastructure projects within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Engineering design
  • Project Management
  • Client communications
  • Collaboration with other disciplines and regulators
  • Contract administration during construction
  • Field work as required
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals

MPE's Regina region covers a broad range of municipal engineering services including:

  • Water treatment and distribution
  • Wastewater collection, treatment and pumping facilities
  • Stormwater management
  • Rural and urban transportation
  • Infrastructure assessments and rehabilitation programs
  • Involvement in all project phases including conceptualization, detailed design, tendering, construction contract administration, and resident engineering.

What makes you unique

  • Professional Engineer or Engineering Licensee designation in Saskatchewan (APEGS) or equivalent from out of province
  • 5 years' of relevant experience in the field of Municipal/Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Working knowledge of local regulations and design requirements of water, sewer, stormwater and transportation systems
  • Project Management experience would be preferred but not a requirement
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and transportation
